The Centro Cultural Banco do Brazil Brasilia resumes activities in his theater with the Luso-Brazilian recital of music and poetry:

Delicate and intimate, the show, which brings Alexander Borges in the direction and on the stage next to the Portuguese pianist João Vasco and the singers Mariana de Moraes and Sofia Victoria, reveres the works of Vinicius de Moraes and Fernando Pessoa

Recommendations will be strictly followed by the entire team of professionals involved in the production of the piece as well as in the reception of the public, as social distance, use of gel alcohol, requirement for the use of face protection mask and proper cleaning of spaces and circulation areas.
It is with all this attention, that disembarks, no CCBB Brasilia Theater, the show Poem Bar for a season of eight performances between the days 4 to 13 of december, from Thursday to Sunday. Theater capacity has been reduced and tickets are now on sale through the Eventim App, in eventim.com.br/artist/poema-bar.
The montage proposes a new look at the work of two poets who, although they portray different times, translate in verse the wide culture of their countries. On the other hand, the acid humor and the passions of the Brazilian Vinicius de Moraes that join the Portuguese romanticism of Fernando Pessoa in the composition of a show to be seen, heard and, especially, sense.
In Poem Bar, premiered in July 2011 at Casa Fernando Pessoa, in Lisbon (EN), the actor is in the cast Alexander Borges, with the dramatized reading of the poets, accompanied by the Portuguese pianist João Vasco, of Vinicius' granddaughter Mariana de Moraes and Portuguese Sofia Victoria, both singers.
This season, there will be a free special session, on 12 of december, Saturday, at 8:0 pm, with translation in pounds and the participation of artists from Brasilia Cida Moreira, no piano, Paula zimbres, on the electric double bass, and Thanise Silva, on the transverse flute.
The repertoire, poems like “Love in tears” and “Acalanto da Rosa”, by Vinicius de Moraes with arrangements by Brazilian classical composer Cláudio Santoro; and “I don't exist without you” and “I feel sorry for the stars”, Fernando Pessoa, among others. Portuguese fado versions also make up the script, for singing and piano, like “Gaivota” and “Meu Amor, My love", arranged by Jeff Cohen – pianist and professor at the Conservatoire Superior de Paris.
Acclaimed by more than 22 thousand spectators, the play has already circulated in Portugal, Germany, France, Mozambique, São Paulo, Bahia, Minas Gerais and Rio de Janeiro. The motivation for creating the recital came from the literary passion that Alexandre Borges and João Vasco, project authors, nourish by Vinicius de Moraes and Fernando Pessoa.

Alexander Borges – Has 35 year career, integrated the Boi Voador theater group directed by Ulysses Cruz, with who debuted in 1985, in the piece Velhos Marinheiros, by Jorge Amado. After several plays, debuted on television in 1993 in the extinct Manchete Network, starred “Funny… Your Loves and Your Sins ”. He became one of the most requested actors on TV Globo, broadcaster for which it carries out countless works.
João Vasco – Piano teacher at the National Conservatory of Lisbon performed in several countries in Europe, Africa, North and South America. Recorded the CD “Alémfado” – a compilation of fados arranged for solo piano. He is an interpreter and founder of internationally presented chamber projects. Also photographer and video maker, coordinates the imaging department of the National Conservatory. In 2015, made the short film “A Carruagem”, laureate at the 9th Inatel Contest, presented at the “Shortfilm Corner” in Cannes and winner of the “Grand Prix Cinerail” in Paris.
Mariana de Moraes – Participated in several films. He stood out in the documentary “Vinicius” (2006), in which he interpreted the classic “Coisa mais linda”. In the theater he worked in several shows and soap operas of the Globo network. Recorded four discs: “The joy continues”, “If it is a sin to dance”, “With Luck” and “Desire”. Participated in discs and DVDs by artists like Maria Bethânia, Francis Hime, Celso Fonseca and Zé Renato.
Sofia Victoria – Throughout his career he performed with musicians of great relevance in the European music scene. In 2012 released his first album in partnership with pianist Luís Figueiredo: “Sofia Vitória & Luís Figueiredo - Word of Women ” – composed of songs lived by the various female figures of the musical universe of Chico Buarque. Echoes is his last CD released in 2016.
