Series of virtual dialogues will pass through different Brazilian states
A series of virtual dialogues with educators, artists and researchers from all over the country proposed by the National Department of Sesc will raise the debate on cultural practices that lead to the reflection of relevant themes for society. The project deal(The)art education will have its opening on the day 30 of June, on Sesc Brasil's Youtube (www.youtube.com/user/SescBrasil) and, every week, one of the axes that will lead the discussions will be addressed. – accessibility, diversity, generationality and territoriality – always from 4pm to 5pm (Brasilia time). Gaucho educators will lead one of the debates in July.
the first week of july, the Diversity theme will be unfolded in several Youtube channels of the Sesc. on the 1st, Sesc Pará will address the Diversity and Territoriality in the Identity Processes of Drags/Demons. The next day, it will be the turn of Sesc Paraíba to talk about Youth, Periphery and Cultural Formation. Day 03, Sesc Santa Catarina deals with Black Artivism and LGBTQIA+ in Santa Catarina: different ways of thinking about art education. In 05/07, Sesc São Paulo debate about Identity and diversity in music education, followed by Sesc Espírito Santo, on 06, with reflection rethinking: Art and culture as a tool for human and social transformation, and by Sesc Alagoas, on 07, with the theme NJÒ AIGBORAN: Dance, Afro-centered education and epistemes for an anti-racist artistic-pedagogical practice.
On Rio Grande do Sul, the project will happen on the day 08 July, with the chat diversity in teaching: LGBTQIA+ Art and Education in RS, with visual arts teacher and researcher Marina Reidel and actor and educator Gustavo Deon. The event will be broadcast on the Sesc/RS YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/sescrs). The guests, natives of Rio Grande do Sul, have a recognized trajectory in the areas of art education, of sexuality and gender relations. The conversation will invite the community of Rio Grande do Sul to think about the challenges that transsexual educators face when occupying different educational spaces, in addition to discussing how the subject has been articulated in curricula and debates promoted by schools. The mediation of the conversation will be done by the Sesc/RS Art Education analyst, diewerson birth, and a Libras interpreter will provide more accessibility to the dialogue.

WHAT IS: Space for sharing experiences and expanded listening to what Brazil has been doing in the field of cultural mediation. De norte in the, from the northeast to the center west and with the southeast in this geography of educational-cultural practices, from conceptual axes, such as: diversity, accessibility, generationality and territoriality; educators, artists, researchers and cultural professionals will present their dynamics, approaches and methodologies, centered on art education.
OBJECTIVE: Democratize access to experiences mediated by music areas, performing arts, audiovisual, art education, Library, Heritage, visual arts and literature, in its varied expressions. Through the Sesc Cultural Policy, which governs the intentions and guidelines of training actions, fruition, diffusion and promotion, promoted by the Culture Program in line with institutional objectives, cultural rights and cultural diversity, the team has developed, through art, dynamics of the scope of criticism, reflection and creation. Art education is a way of mediation of knowledge, experiences and knowledge. Horizontally, Sesc wants to understand how people relate to art. Along the way, the dialogical exercise is present. The main point of this work is, therefore, exercise the conception of mediation as an object of educational-artistic-cultural training.
