The poetry is born of something. It may be of note, of the disease, joy, the lull, of the unusual, of the study and the unthinkable, this is what writer Severino Antônio says in his new book “Nascentes”.
Published by Penalux, the work intends to show the origin of this literary genre, that is, where poems are really born. to the author, the book aims to present the sprouting of poetry and the springs of poetic making.
According to the writer Tarcísio Bregalda, author's preface, Severino's poems seem of easy birth, as if they were water springing from that childhood water mine. At the same time, texts are thought, written and rewritten, which allows the feeling that they can emerge and span the centuries.
For publishers Tonho France and Wilson Gorj, the author of “Nascentes” is one of the biggest names today when it comes to child pedagogy in Brazil, besides being one of the best living Brazilian poets. “His work is highly valued by education and poetry cults”.
