“Luminosity as an expression of the soul of Wladmir Amoroso”
The Artist Loving Wladmir travels through different themes in his paintings: portraits, representations of everyday scenes of his people or of Brazilian culture in general, as, representations of events occurring in the country, going to religious and also fantastic scenes. In addition to investigating different forms of representation.
Some of his works can be considered as belonging to the Naïve Art class due to the use of vibrant colors, but, mainly, by the conscious detachment from academic technique, which is clearly part of the artist's arsenal of skills.
It is not without great technical mastery, therefore, who Loving Wladmir, sometimes, let go of your hand to create traces that define themselves and with impressive clarity all the movement of the images. The artist shows the most dance scenes, with a more accelerated and festive movement, full of curved lines and disproportions in shapes, while the paintings that represent slower or even stopped moments, have straight lines, accompanied by linear perspective.
From skillful realism to simple Naïf, what stands out in his paintings is the brilliant luminosity present in each one. The luminosity, that varies in color, being, sometimes, yellowish, slightly gray or purely white, presents itself with intensity and leaves any of the scenes full of the feeling of warmth.
When observing the common point between the themes of his paintings, namely, everything that is internally or externally close to the artist, Leon Tolstoy's classic phrase comes to the fore “you want to be universal, start by painting your village”.
This idea is not related, however, just to your poetics, when it exalts the beauty of its surroundings, but also to the way he creates his own rules to awaken the sensitive in his paintings.
Through the variation of luminosity the artist's place in each of the images becomes perceptive.
In other words, Loving Wladmir, besides portraying his “village”, plays with the emotions of colors, showing through the luminosity something that is even closer, that is, the manifestation of your own soul, present, nay, sensibly present in each of the scenes he portrays. And, and, its representation can be understood as universal, insofar as it reveals what, in essence, resembles us, namely, our varied soul movements.

14- Your plans for the future?
I would very much like my painting style to be observed more closely, that I could get a message through my art, I think that art and the artist sees long before the technological society, things to come social changes, new generations are losing touch, and it's up to us artists we give this back to them, which in my opinion is increasingly diluted in a digital world, today everything is very synthetic and cold, the man has to be analog again maybe my vision has to do with my training in technology, because I lived the arts and technology side simultaneously during 51 years.
15- In your opinion what is the future of Brazilian art and its artists? (in the general context) and why so many artists are giving preference to show their work in international exhibitions despite high costs?
I see Brazilian art and its artists with a very promising future, today's society is tired of so much technology, artisanal things in the near future will be valued again, in all senses, gastronomy, Entertainment, Tourism, in all of this, art goes hand in hand. Many parents are concerned about their children glued to cell phone screens, and are realizing that their children are changing behaviors, attitudes, today many anxious young people, depressive, are losing reasoning, losing the way of knowing how to communicate, know how to understand or interlocutor, and the shortest way to it and the solution is to art in general.
