Juliana Mônaco opens the collective PORTFOLIO at the Art Lab Gallery

Juliana Monaco closes its agenda of 2021 of Art Lab Gallery with the collective show PORTFOLIO with 120 artists showing more than 350 works in the 1000m² of exhibition area of ​​the gallery. Maintaining the commitment to serve as a gateway and entrance to new artists in the art and culture exhibition circuit, creatives include both those represented by the gallery and 100 selected through the process of "open call” via social networks.

Paintings, sculptures, artist photographs and jewelry are presented without a single concept. Each artist is free to curate their work, both in choosing the pieces and in the way to display them.

Anne Weege, Ariane Labre, Carol Moraes, Daniel Cavalcanti, Grace Tirelli, Linda Dayan, Marcia Cavinati, Mariana Naves, Mariella Morrone, Pat, PatyLene, Renata Kandelman, Russ, Samara Oliveira, Barbosa tunic, Valter Marques, Sources, have a captive place for being part of the team of Art Lab Gallery and other artists join them after a careful analysis of the material sent, as the goal is to continue “stimulating the intersection of multiple strands in an immersive laboratory of experimentation and artistic exchange”, explains Juliana Monaco.

An exhibition where, once again, it is allowed that “the proposed topics emerge from particular manifestos, coming from regional contexts, political sensitivities, economic, and cultural", says the gallery owner.

“As variables increase, the practices and artistic works are completely subjective of evaluation and dependent on individual interpretation that, by capturing the visitor's senses when interacting with the work, make the art fulfill”. Juliana Monaco
