At the age of 40 years, the artist Eliane Maestrelli will open on Friday (03/08), at 9:00, his first solo exhibition. With Down Syndrome, the artist shows his paintings in the art of living, printing singleness in his artistic calligraphy. The exhibition "Do not let me Down" occupies the exhibition hall of the Cultural Foundation in Santa Felicidade to Regional 31 August and has free admission.
For over five years the artist, who has participated in other group exhibitions, is a student of free painting course in screen offered by the FCC in the Regional Center. The works are images taken through acrylic painting technique, tempera and oil on canvas. There are dozens of images with varying themes, ranging from landscapes to still life, as well as photo reproduction. "Eliane dominates his work. It has a peculiar way to solve your images ", said the guiding Iriene Borges about the look of the artist.
The exhibition's title, “Don’t let me Down”, that in a free translation means "Do not leave me", refers to the name of a famous Beatles song and alludes to the syndrome emphasizing the importance of having the support of family.
Eliane's mother, Natalina of Grace Stival Maestrelli reveals the expectation of daughter. "She loves to paint and is very excited about the exhibition".
Eliane teacher, highlights the importance of socialization and inclusion work is also reinforced by the family. "Eliane has always stimulated, It has always been independent. Courses
The advisor believes that for many students the course functions as a therapeutic measure. The Regional Cultural Center Foundation in Santa Felicidade are offered various courses. The free course of painting on canvas is held once a week, Mondays, the 4th, Thursdays and Saturdays.
