The first semester has already passed, leaving major festivals across Brazil, as was the case with Lollapalooza and I Wanna Be Tour.

Yet, music fans still have a busy few months ahead, as the country's cultural agenda is very busy.

From national to international attractions, There are events for all audiences and in different Brazilian states.

Among the major festivals scheduled for the second semester, Rock in Rio and Tomorrowland stand out, famous for bringing a line-up with several important artists.

To follow, check out all musical events which will take place between the end of August and the beginning of December.

Festival Accept

The Accepta Festival is a celebration of diversity, bringing not only musical attractions, but several other attractions related to the LGBTQIAPN+ community. Carried out in partnership between the Ministry of Culture and Nubank, the event takes place between 23 and 25 August, at the Marine Club Nautical Space, in Belem.

30 Artists representing the community will perform throughout the three days, including names like Gloria Groove, Christian Chávez, Eloi Iglesias, Maria Gadú and much more. Tickets range from R$ 70 the R $ 270, to have access to the full festival.

Tour

Turá is a festival that celebrates Brazilian culture as a whole. This year it is happening exclusively in Recife, capital of Pernambuco, but editions have already been confirmed for São Paulo and Porto Alegre in the future. The event takes place on the days 24 and 25 August, no Classic Hall.

Artists like Maria Rita, Baco Exu do Blues, Joelma, Lenin, Jota Quest, Nação Zumbi and several others have confirmed presence at the festival. Ticket prices vary depending on the section chosen, varying between track and box.

Sheet

This year, the Koala is celebrating its 10th edition, being another festival focused on celebrating Brazilian music in different genres. The event takes place between 6 and 8 September, in Latin American Memorial, located in the Barra Funda neighborhood, in São Paulo.

The line-up includes artists such as O Terno, Lenin, Lulu Santos, The Paralamas of Success, Planet Hemp, 5 Seco and several other names in national music. Tickets range from R$ 140 the R $ 399, in the case of access to the full festival.

Rock in Rio

The biggest and most anticipated musical event of the year returns to the Olympic Park, in Rio de Janeiro, between days 13 and 22 September. In editing 2024, rock fans will be able to enjoy great attractions such as Avenged Sevenfold and Evanescence; other genres are also well served, including renowned artists such as Katy Perry, OneRepublic, Imagine Dragons, Travis Scott e Ed Sheeran.

Tickets are available from R$ 397,50. Due to high demand, It is recommended that interested parties plan in advance, securing tickets, accommodation and air ticket as soon as possible.

Sarará

Sarará is another festival focusing on Brazilian diversity and culture, aiming to celebrate all minorities in different ways. The event takes place in 14 September, in Mangabeiras Park, in Belo Horizonte (MG).

Confirmed attractions include Baco Exu do Blues, Zombie nation, Jaloo, Rachel Rice, Afrocity, Lia de Itamaracá and more. Tickets are available from R$ 125, currently in the second batch.

Tomorrowland Brazil

Electronic music fans will be treated to Tomorrowland Brasil between the days 11 and 13 October, What happens at Maeda Park?, em It (SP). After a gap of seven years without a new edition, the festival returned to the country in 2023 and aims to remain active since then.

The DJs confirmed for the edition of 2024 include Hardwell, Alok, Vintage Culture, Cat Dealers, Dubdogz, Boris Brejch, Armin van Buuren e mais. Tickets are still available from R$ 550 (for a single day of the event).

MADA

The Música Alimento da Alma festival celebrates its 26 years of existence with another edition at Arena das Dunas, In Natal (RN). Happening in the days 18 and 19 October, The event brings together several Brazilian artists in different genres, including Fresno, Pitty, Ebony, Djonga, Ana Frango Elétrico and much more.

Ticket prices vary from R$ 110 the R $ 440.

Rock the Mountain

Rock the Mountain is a festival that aims to bring together great artists in a relaxed environment close to nature. The event takes place at the Mayor Paulo Rattes Municipal Park, located in Petrópolis (RJ).

Confirmed attractions include Anitta, Zeca Pagodinho, Seu Jorge, Pablo Vittar, Nando Reis, Elderly, Joelma, Ed Motta, Planet Hemp, Zombie Nation and much more. Currently in the eighth batch, tickets can be purchased from R$ 394.

Afropunk Brazil

Afropunk is a festival dedicated to celebrating black culture, bringing artists who best represent the movement. The event takes place on 9 and 10 November, at the Salvador Exhibition Park, in Salvador (BA).

Some of the confirmed artists include Planet Hemp, Duchess, Mateus Fazeno Rock, Timbalada, Jorge Aragão and Leo Santana. Tickets are available from R$ 75.

Primavera Sound

Primavera Sound closes the circuit of music festivals in 2024, returning to the Interlagos Racetrack, in São Paulo, in the days 30 November and 1 of december. The line-up has not yet been announced, but you can expect renowned international artists, as usual. Tickets start at R$ 500.
