The exhibition Nise da Silveira – The Revolution for Affection occupies three rooms at the Banco do Brasil Cultural Center Rio de Janeiro until today 16 August, gathering about of 90 works by clients of the Museum of Images of the Unconscious, beside pieces of Lygia Clark and Joe Carlos Garcia, photographs of Alice Brill, Rogério Reis and Rafael bqueer, videos of Leon Hirzsman and Tiago Sant’Ana and watercolors and photos of Carlos Vergara. The curatorship is from M’Baraká Studio, with psychiatrist consulting Victor for God and the museologist Euripides Junior. in the three rooms, the public will walk through the precursors of art therapy as opposed to the treatments of the time, the issue of affection, then you will see the arrival of Nise from Alagoas in Rio de Janeiro, the passage through prison, the women he lived with, among them the samba dancer Dona Ivone Lara, even do a dive into the unconscious, also exploring the territorial issue of the inner craft as a space of exclusion and metaphor of inner craft versus outer craft.

In this visit “CCBB and the City: Banco do Brasil Cultural Center and the city of Rio de Janeiro”The public follows a course that will allow them to learn about the history of CCBB Rio de Janeiro, exploring aspects of its architecture, in dialogue with its territory and the elements that integrate its spaces, which constitute an important heritage of arts and culture in the country. Cultural mediation activities for schools and other institutions in groups of 10 to 45 people, in the morning shifts, afternoon and night. The mediated visits made by the educators are always guided by the conversation around relevant themes of the present, as artistic productions that help us understand it and cultural heritage as a way of building our identity, taking into account the plurality of our audiences. In virtual mode, the visits happen keeping this vocation, because it is possible to maintain the intensity and power of conversations, even from a distance. From activations, questions and a listening always attentive to the experiences of the public, educators prepared visits with different themes. These are the central themes of the activities mediated in the online visits to schools, groups and institutions at the exhibition Nise da Silveira – revolution for affection.
Nise da Silveira revolutionized mental health using affection as a methodology in the humanized treatment of people in situations of psychological distress. The exhibition on display at CCBB-RJ brings together files, documents and works by various artists, telling Nise's story, marked by endurance and struggle, always supported by science, but without leaving out affection and listening. The CCBB Educativo team invites teachers and heads of groups interested in art and culture to browse the main themes present in the exhibition.

ROUTE - PODCAST CCBB EDUCATIVO
Route is a monthly podcast, culturally, performed by the CCBB Educative Program team – Art & Education. With ten editions expected to be released between January and October 2021, its content articulates interviews and critical comments based on attractions from the Banco do Brasil Cultural Center's programming, in addition to recent memories of activities carried out by the CCBB Educational Program. Each edition, the program addresses movie attractions, theater, music and visual arts in dialogue with a specific theme, also articulating the thematic axes that currently guide the activities of the CCBB Educational Program: accessibility culture, Digital resources in arts classes, Education, decolonial culture and processes, and Nature and Culture. Based on reflective and pedagogical approaches, route highlights paths, Law Suit, concepts and contexts related to the cultural and educational programming of the Banco do Brasil Cultural Center.

About CCBBs Rio de Janeiro
CCBB-Rio is open to the public from 9 am to 7 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Sundays and from 9am to 8pm on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, (closes tuesday). Public entry is only allowed with online booking (eventim.com.br), which makes it possible to keep strict control of the number of people in the building. It also has a single circulation flow, temperature measurement, mandatory mask use, availability of alcohol gels and floor flags for distance. In theaters and cinemas the capacity is reduced to 40%.
