The Verve Galeria displays "NDÚSTRIA”, visual artist Guilherme Callegari. Curated by Eduarda Freire and critical text Juliana Muniz, the individual artist in the first gallery features 25 paintings – oil, acrylic, oily chalk, coal, ballpoint pen and colored pencil on canvas -, that address the artist's vision about the industry and communication in modern society, supported in their daily work and an extensive research on the graphic design.

The set of letters "NDÚSTRIA”, by which the new show titles Verve Galeria, It was designed by Guilherme Callegari only as a symbol that identifies the exhibition. The word itself is consistent with the title of some of the paintings exhibited. With this abstraction, the artist seeks to draw attention only to the drawings and the sound they pass.

The production Guilherme Callegari arises from a daily work, its practical relationship with painting. The automotive industry and communication comes your search permeable to the selection of colors, elements and symbols – exploring the graphics and dessignificação. About the artist's work, the painter Rodolpho Parigi has written: “The colors of William Callegari are industrial and plastic nature, It is not a palette of landscapes or even a meat painter. His palette is a professional printer or even a bureau silk screen […] William works as a machine, but his paintings have features and characteristics of masterpiece, no sense of unique work. The passages are defined as in Design, bringing more graphic information. Even when the artist mixes his elements, always a well-defined edge that differentiates. Everything is solid and flat. The meeting of colors happens most often by intersection and not melt. This reminds us of pantones generated by Photoshop or the wall paint shops.

Without necessarily having a narrative character, the works presented by Guilherme Callegari cover elements derived from the graphic design universe – like typography and calligraphy -, but depleted of semantic meanings or symbolic, used as forms in the composition of his works. In Douglas de Freitas of sayings, about the artist's work: “In Callegari paintings there is no error, either no correction to be made. What exists is the search for a composition solution needs, without ever completely erase what was done, never reset what has been accomplished, even though it apparently did not make more sense in the way that the painting took. It is annular with an X that has more effect, because it lost sense in compositional artist set, making this errata part of the solution "right" of his painting. […] These are the devices that Callegari put his hand in the realization of his paintings. There is no rule or need materials, the work takes place in the accumulation and overlapping of these different elements and materials, coal, acrylic, synthetic enamel, crayons, resin, among many other”.

As defined curator Eduarda Freire:Between a raised suspicion about the interpretative possibility of mystic sigils, international character or randomness, the artist convinced that there is a powerful space, now filled, between an informative poster and a painting. Obeys the desired visual perfection established by design, while evading the operation of the communication and media production in the simple admission of free artistic production”.
