Author of "Butterfly Kiss" and “The Others”, Vanessa Guimaraes announces its participation in 261st São Paulo International Book Biennial with two autograph sessions. Winner of two editions of the Coherence Choice Awards, the artist is present at the booth of the publishing house Cabana Vermelha, on 02 July, from the 1:00 pm, and at the ABERST stand, on 03 July, at 3:0 pm.
“It is the first time that I participate in the event as an author”, Vanessa Guimaraes debuted in literature in 2020, during the Covid-19 pandemic, and was limited to participating in large face-to-face literary events. Now, she fulfills the dream of being able to connect and personally meet her fans.
Wrapping Your Readers in Crime Thriller Stories, the artist also proposes to share a little bit of herself through Joanna Guivel, main detective of stories. “She is an alter ego, the public knows a little about me through her. Including, I use it to bring up LGBTQIA+ themes in the plots with subtlety”, informs.
In “Butterfly Kiss”, first book from Vanessa Guimaraes, Detective Joanna Guivel is destined to solve a case that begins after Nicole, child of 5 years, disappear from inside your house. Already in “The Others”, the professional needs care, as mutilated bodies with enigmatic messages from girls are found on the banks of lakes in Rio de Janeiro, and tension rises when he realizes that his family is also in danger.
Organized by the Brazilian Book Chamber and RX, to 261st São Paulo International Book Biennial happens of the day 02 to 10 July, at Expo Center Norte, located in the north of São Paulo.
