The Art Lab Gallery, celebrates the anniversary of the city of São Paulo with the opening of two group exhibitions simultaneous: CONTEMPORARY UP and SP INSPIRES ART. Juliana Monaco, who signs the curatorship of the two exhibitions, reinforces its commitment to the cultural circuit of promotion and generation of opportunities for art and emerging artists.
A set of, approximately, 200 works, presenting diversified supports that include photographs, paintings and sculptures, includes both artists chosen after responding to the Open Call released by Art Lab like the creatives already represented by her.
The CONTEMPORARY UP allows complete freedom in choosing the topic presented, allowing the artist the 'safe' option of exhibiting their creations with themes where they feel comfortable. To the SP INSPIRES ART, Juliana Monaco pays homage to the anniversary of the city of São Paulo, which becomes the main thread of the exhibition in commemoration of its 468 years.
