One of the first Italian houses of Santa Happiness is on display

Photos and paintings of one of Italy's houses built in the Santa Felicidade district are theme of the show house Culpi. The exhibition will open on Wednesday (7/11), in the Cultural Foundation Room in the Santa Felicidade Citizenship Street, and sign up 3 of december, with free entry.

The exhibition brings together old photographs and paintings on canvas of Culpi House. The property, built in 1897, It is one of the first buildings in the area and belonged to the family Culpi, one of the pioneers among the Italian immigrants who settled in the Santa Felicidade neighborhood. The show also features two works of artist Sergio Serena portraying the property: a drawing in pen and ink on paper and a model made of wood.

House and warehouse, the house was also a meeting point for drivers, as integrated route leading to Northern Parana. Bought and restored by the municipality, in 1990 the building now operates as a memorial of Italian immigration, administered in partnership with the organized community. Currently the property, located at Avenida Manoel Ribas, 8450, It hosts the CRAS Butiatuvinha, equipment managed by the Social Action Foundation of Curitiba.
