Writer Adriana Jungbluth and illustrator Rodisley J. Silva open collective financing in Catarse for the launch of the work
With the high rate of environmental deforestation in Brazil during the year 2019, the artist Adriana Jungbluth together with the illustrator Rodisley J. Silva came together to write and illustrate the book “Timothy and the Trees”. The children's story aims to teach children the importance of preserving the environment, and currently has crowdfunding open in Catarse for the launch.
The writer and screenwriter Adriana Jungbluth devoted himself to the development of this story after facing a possible future for his twin children. It was when they had 2 year old she decided to write the plot for a children's feature film, but only this year that the project will also come to life in a book.
“Timothy and the Trees” was selected to participate in the 19 ° Goiânia Mostra Curtas Screenplay Laboratory and received consultancy from Rosana Urbes, animator who has worked on projects for Disney.
The collective financing of the work presents several and varied rewards to the supporters. If the campaign reaches the full amount, the book will be released by Editorial Group Coherence. The amount collected will be used for editorial services, as review, diagramming, publishing, printing and among others.
