Until the day 1 September, the carioca public will be able to check out “Alhures”, new solo show by the artist Thelma Innecco, on display at the sumptuous Hotel Santa Teresa MGallery. The new exhibition configures the return of the Art Projetc project that presents exhibitions by different artists, transforming the gardens and other areas of the hotel into a true open-air art gallery.
The exhibition features the series Uns Sobre Os Outros (awarded in 2020 and exhibited at Casa França Brasil) and the Terreiro Urbano series, gathering orixás sculptures that were part of the Casa Cor Chafariz Garden. Curated by Fessal and Ludmila Santana (Hotel Santa Teresa), the vernissage was held on the last day 29 July, boiling the night of the bohemian neighborhood. Performed by actress Laura de Castro, the vernissage was attended by DJ Luíz Ratón and Pedro Vagão Trio, sponsored by Heineken, apoio do BaerMate e da Barin Drinks, realization of the Hotel Santa Teresa RJ MGallery.
Natural of Niterói, Thelma established her ceramics studio in Santa Teresa and her artistic expression has as its central axis the sociopolitical narrative and, as main support, the clay, the clay. His work continually re-examines these roles of the most vulnerable in history and contemporary society.. In 2014 opened the modernist gallery in Santa Teresa, space attached to the hotel and has already 50 exhibitions over this period, representing artists and also as a curator.
