The visual artist capixaba Therese Mazzei inaugurates the exhibition "Possibilities", next Saturday (7 October), at 4:00 pm, in the Gallery of the House of Paul Barry, in Lapa.
For your first solo exhibition in Rio de Janeiro, Therese will present a series of unpublished works and some that are part of your artistic background in organic mineral pigment and its developments, where has been working since 1999.
"Possibilities" brings together works that show a set of pictorial universe references mineral organic artist: the stored objects and techniques brought in your artistic career within the Atelier in Victory, in Espírito Santo.
Therese exposes works that has developed from the research with organic paintings dialogue directly with nature vegetable/mineral and its points of interest where the same explores the research of these elements, as mangrove tree bark, flowers and stems from the hose by merging with several minerals such as barros, land, ores and coal in addition to layered, filings, copper wires, among other material, displaying works in assemblages and sculptures also with hose items.
In addition to your organic paint, Therese develops infoarte (photographic composition of images) in which she creates effects, provided by photo, cutting and forming with the details of this final result placed under the interference of digital media, weaving so another dimension in your work space.

The exhibition is in the Gallery of the House of Paul Barry (Mathew Street and Valley, 8 floor, Lapa-RIO DE JANEIRO) until day 03 November, with visitation of 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, free rating and free admission.
