The exhibition will be open to the public from Wednesday to Monday., from 11:00 to 7:00 pm, curated by critic Giancarlo Hannud, art history teacher.

During the show, visitors can see works from an extensive metal engraving production, developed since the middle of the years 1970 – Fingermann’s artistic production period, which is marked by etching and aquatint techniques and drawings that dialogue with the themes of his prints and paintings.

Through your works, Sergio bets on the construction of a work based on a lyrical subjectivity, that dialogues with art history and contemporaneity. In them, he encourages the viewer to reflect on what is on the scene, on stage or on what the staging enacts. often in their work, the artist makes use of chairs, curtains, scaffolding, ladders and moons that reappear and combine with each other, creating a territory to dream.

“Engraving is a technique that has the peculiarity of provoking reflection on the construction of images., because it is made by successive engravings on a copper plate, building a game of plots and hatches that creates sensations of shadows and lights. With a drawing production, articulated paintings and prints, I seek the creation of a poetic identity using theater signs, affective memories and observations of the real to build a world of lyricism”, Serge explains.
