15 – In your opinion what is the future of Brazilian art and its artists? (in the general context) and why so many artists are giving preference to show their work in international exhibitions despite high costs?
The future of Brazilian art and artists to date still largely depends on the efforts of each one and the good will and support of some friends and family, because to participate in some art exhibitions the cost is high especially for those starting this, the preference for international exhibitions come from the belief that out there to have more visibility or financial return, but each artist has their reason.
I think with our nation's awakening, with the rescue and recovery of our identity and self-esteem, with financial support to new artists, and the massive investment in education, the teachers and especially in education through the arts in schools and encompassing 4 worlds of the arts as: Visual Arts, Music, Theater and Dance, we are training people who value culturally and consume the Arts.
Thus, the artist felt secure in investing in exhibitions within the country, You will be sure visibility and financial return.
