Ponteio Lar Shopping's rejects are transformed into exhibition scenography

For some time now that reuse and transforming materials that would have been discarded has become essential for the harmony between the ecosystem and the man. Much of what goes in the trash can win new forms and functions, just a critical eye, creativity and good taste. With these three pillars that guided your work, the architect Marina M, who signs the Machina store design, chose a great challenge: make the garbage and the descartes of Ponteio Lar Shopping exhibition scenography.

From there she built the shows ' On 2 Wheels ', a realization of the Mall in partnership with the businessmen Fernando Maciel and Flávio Carvalho, Machina store partners. According To Marina, the objective of the project was to create and recreate the forms and cause a striking atmosphere and, at the same time, relaxed for lovers of motorcycles and their fans and supporters, without losing the focus that is appreciating even more motorcycles and accessories, the main stars of the exhibition.

For this Marina Maciel visited the area of descartes on the Ponteio in search of usable waste. "I found a true wealth in disuse, including billboards, metal exhausts ducts, Electric rusty frames, tablaos, broken furniture, goods displays, signs, TNT events, metal tiles, palets , maintenance scaffolding, etc. The only materials purchased were paints ", reveals the architect.

Hands-on

With a theme in mind and materials at hand, Marina M turned the scraps into a good urban scenography, which refer to workshops, garages and the universe of machines and motorcycles, without causing interference in image "home" featuring shopping Ponteio . To compose the ambiance and refer to the sustainable, natural and environmentally friendly, along with Celina Laterza, the Flower Shop, and more, the architect ornamented space with vegetations, choosing species most common routes. "The green of the plants by the vibrant colors interacted with the dominant black, favorite color of motorcyclists, with freedom and interactivity. This authenticated the space ", celebrates the architect, that confidence that the biggest challenge was the money and the time in the preparation and execution of the project.
