The City of São Paulo launches in December the new edition of Street Art Museum (MAR), a partnership between the Municipal Culture, Boroughs and Education. The Initiative aims to improve the city's vocation for the production of urban art and expand its positive impact on culture and identity of São Paulo. With work completed between the months of December and January, the project enables about 30 urban art works in different media, as graphite, stencil, photography, always large.
Three-axis support this edition of the SEA: implementation of interventions; investment in training of teachers and artists, for 2020; and encouraging urban art market with public-private partnerships. Among the highlights, is giant, the photographer and visual artist Raquel Brust. It is an urban intervention with giant photos, as the name implies, and uses the architecture of the city as support, interacting with the landscape and reacting to it. Already the project #TarsilaInspira brings women artists coloring the center of Sao Paulo with works created from the work of the modernist artist Tarsila do Amaral. RUI MENDES – RAUL SEIXAS

GRUPO open – TEBAS
The Blackboard at the Center will be an Urban art exhibition that will use the Graffiti technique as a form of expression, information and communication vehicle to contribute to the interaction of the viewer, and improve the landscape that borders the central city of São Paulo. The idea of this project is to promote the revitalization of urban areas in order to contribute to the enhancement of the cultural heritage of the city through reframing the story of an enslaved who learned the mason craft with his master in the city of Santos. Due to lack of opportunities both migrated to São Paulo in 1750, from there it becomes part of the history of our city and receives his freedom to build the tower from the Cathedral, also built the gable side of the Monastery of St. Benedict and the decorative elements of the facade of the Carmelite Third Order.

Born in 1983, Alex Senna is an illustrator and São Paulo graffiti artist who works mainly in São Paulo.
