For the first time, the city of São Paulo will have a street party dedicated to books and reading: the Mário de Andrade Festival – The book upset. Part of the integrated city calendar, a Agendão, program São Paulo Capital of Culture, the Municipal Department of São Paulo Culture, the first edition of the Festival will be held between 4 and 6 October. There are more than 150 activities, all free, between conversations with authors, workshops, street shows, string duel, sarau, theater, dance and music, conducted in eleven parts of the city.
The event promotes cultural occupation of the city in a large gathering inspired by the book culture, bringing together authors, editors, readers, Librarians, booksellers, collective and public of all ages and from all over Brazil. The project, which aims to contribute to the formation of important players in the country, celebrates the literary art, knowledge in the humanities and scientific research.
Baptized Book corridor, path between Mário de Andrade library and the Square of Arts, through the Rua Coronel Xavier de Toledo and by Municipal Theatre, It is the central axis of the event, it also spreads points as cultural centers Tendal da Lapa and Cidade Tiradentes, Black Culture Center and Youth Cultural Center. The outdoor area occupied by the festival comprises about half a kilometer and, considering the surroundings of the three central equipment.

In space, are represented oriented publishing initiatives for LGBTQIA diversity +, the issue of race and feminism. The exhibitors adhere massively to the public call launched by the Municipal Culture in a move that positions the festival, already in his debut, as an added incentive in the midst of the publishing market crisis.
Programming – The Festival values and promotes reading and literature in all its manifestations, increasing the recognition and strengthening of traditions and also expressions and contemporary literary technologies. In three days of intense and integrated programming, the event consolidates the readers of training work; the cultural power of new languages, evenings and slams; and the movement of writers, books and ideas. In addition to conversations with authors, programming includes music, theater, dance, workshops and collective tents, publishers and bookstores, always with artists and shows in dialogue with literature.
The opening ceremony, day 04 October, at 19h, at Square of Arts, It is marked by the compact presentation of "Yes”, show in style gumboot dance (dance rubber boots), created by the workers of the gold mines and coal from South Africa, no Século XIX. The choreography addresses the exploitation of both minerals as the seven people that drew, as well as the women waiting for their husbands miners.
After the presentation, the Festival receives the Mozambican author Mia Couto, awarded the Camões, most important literature prize of the Portuguese language. Speaking to journalist, writer and actress Bianca Ramoneda, They will address issues such as human relations with their peers and the planet, analyzed from an African perspective and literary. Chat: recycling chain: a look at collectors

Degree in media, in advertising and journalism qualifications. He worked as reporter culture, publicist and content producer for digital media. Modest Orchestra – Songs for Little Ears
The band formed by clowns presents copyright songs album released by the Seal in SESC 2018, whose themes seek to build a drama that leads the audience on a musical journey.
