For the first time, the city of São Paulo will have a street party dedicated to books and reading: the Mário de Andrade Festival – The book upset. In three days of intense and integrated programming, the event consolidates the readers of training work; the cultural power of new languages, evenings and slams; and the movement of writers, books and ideas. In addition to conversations with authors, programming includes music, theater, dance, workshops and collective tents, publishers and bookstores, always with artists and shows in dialogue with literature.

The opening ceremony, day 04 October, at 19h, at Square of Arts, It is marked by the compact presentation of "Yes”, show in style gumboot dance (dance rubber boots), created by the workers of the gold mines and coal from South Africa, no Século XIX.
