TIPS
Six tips for the artist to deal with social networks in times of confinement.
Words like novo coronavirus, COVID-19 and pandemic recently entered our vocabulary. Confinement was associated with prisons, never to stay at home to protect yourself and others. And the mask, often ironic when used in eastern countries, has became, next to hand hygiene, our great ally.
All of this came after social media. They already existed and some plastic artists resisted them. Others were already in love. What happens now is that the current moment of humanity has generated a fast digitization and migration of the artistic class to the virtual sphere. With museums, closed galleries and fairs, going to the internet world was the option.
But that does not mean having an adequate professional result. Participating in lives and posting on facebook and Instagram or other platforms is not enough. Everyone is doing this. Those who adopt this strategy in a more professional way will survive, with greater constancy, consistency and competence.
Here are tips to be known and recognized:
1 - post or what excites;
2 - select what you publish;
3 - be creative, offering a differential;
4 - tune in what you want to show with what the audience wants to see;
5 - don't be guided by hate, but for love;
6 - perform the previous five topics simultaneously. Easy? Not. Who said it would be?
