Curitiba Chamber Orchestra presents "Viva Vivaldi!”

Some of the most important compositions by Antonio Vivaldi (1678 – 1741) for violin and Orchestra are in the Repertory that Curitiba Chamber Orchestra plays this Friday (15), at 8:0 pm, it is Saturday (16), às 18h30, in the chapel Santa Maria Cultural Space. The concert "Viva Vivaldi" guest Music Director and harpsichordist Fernando and Cordella is completed with the shares of the soils of the soprano Marília Vargas and the violinists Winston Ramalho and Francisco Freitas Junior.

Part of the program Arias and oratorios that cover most of Vivaldi's activity as a composer of Opera. The soprano Marília Vargas explains that are operas and oratorios "melodious and dramatic". The concert includes the oratorio Juditha Triumphans and the operas L & #8217; Olimpiade, La Fida Ninfa, Bajazet, Griselda, among others, and a performance of Farnace.

The Orchestra also will perform the Concerto for two Violins in a minor RV 522. The predominant part of this composition was unknown and was especially Vivaldi original manuscripts transcribed by musicologist Claudio Osele.

The Music Director and harpsichordist for this presentation, Fernando Cordella, is a professor and researcher in music of the 17th and 18th centuries, Artistic Director of the early music Guild Studio Clio, Bach society Porto Alegre and the Bolton Chamber Orchestra, where it acts as a conductor holder. Is also a founding member of the groups and Baroque Concerto Strumentale Chapel, in Porto Alegre.
