In program dedicated to Handel Heroines, the Chamber Orchestra of the City of Curitiba performs symphonies and arias from operas Alcina, Rinaldo and Julius Caesar, with soprano solos Marilia Vargas and musical direction by Fernando Cordella. The concerts take place on Friday (25/10), at 8:0 pm, and on Saturday (26/10), às 18h30, in the chapel Santa Maria.
The musical director ran the program several times, the main one took place in London, na Casa de Handel, museum dedicated to the composer. orchestra musicians complete the program - violins soil Winston Ramalho and Francis de Freitas Jr. and cello Klaiton Laube.
The operas are known to be the grandiloquent genre German Friederic George Handel (1685-1759). The main female composer voices will be accompanied by the public in the opera Alcina (arias from Alcina and Morgana), in Rinaldo (Aria Almirena) em and Julius Caesar (arias from Cleopatra).
Still on schedule, the Concerto Grosso in F major has all the skill of the Chamber Orchestra.

The grand and triumphant Handel's music was the greatest achievement of the ideal Baroque: excite the senses. His art was a universal master, at a time when the music knew no national boundaries. His dramatic temperament found in the opera what seemed to be the ideal expression.
