Inspired by the motto “Museums: losses and new starts", the Museu Nacional de Belas Artes will host two events in the 15th Spring of Museums, promoted by the Brazilian Institute of Museums(IBRAM).
On 21 September, 3St fair, at 4:00 pm, let's show the video “Hope”, idealized by historian Cintya Callado, showing an interesting dialogue between the MNBA's archival and museological collections, in the context of losses we are facing.
In the day 23 September, 5St fair, at 4:00 pm, there will be a lecture with the participation of the architect Renata Casimiro and the restorer Larissa Long, addressing architectural and artistic aspects of the restoration and modernization work of the MNBA building. This meeting will be in person, but only for 30 participants, with subscriptions by: mnba.eventos@gmail.com. It is mandatory to present proof of vaccination against Covid. The event will be broadcast by Instagram @mnbario.
