The program is aimed at restricted audiences, with reduced hours and all the necessary resources, measures to prevent the new coronavirus.

The highlights of the month of November are the mediated visits daily, that happen from Wednesday to Sunday (closed on Tuesdays) at 12 noon and 4 pm. The hours are divided between visits to the newly opened exhibition “Alphonse Mucha: the legacy of Art Nouveau” (Mon, who, sex e sab 12h e 16h, past 16 o'clock, and home 12h), and Patrimonial visits to the permanent exhibition of CCBB Rio de Janeiro, Values ​​Gallery (Wed 12h and Sun 16h). In addition to classroom programming, from now on, a large part of the activities carried out by the program CCBB Educational – art & education happen online, allowing audiences in different cities to access extensive content in art and education. Among these activities, figure virtual visits to exhibitions, the With the Word, which invites professionals from different fields to conduct special visits, and activities of the Place of creation, that can also be done from home.

Set no CCBB-Rio, you gave the day 18 November, the shows “Alphonse Mucha: the legacy of Art Nouveau”, running until the day 28 February 2021, offers the public the possibility to explore and discover the vast collection with 100 works by the Czech painter provided by the Mucha Foundation. On the following Saturdays, the Place of creation will promote story workshops, with mediated reading meetings of illustrated books, followed by the creation of narratives and invention, with images and texts gathered in artisanal publications; knowledge offices, with the production of narratives based on the cultural imagery of the participants, in dialogue with the city where they live and the exhibitions running and the art games, geared towards creation in arts, exploring games that involve visual arts strategies, theater, music, bodily practices and writing. ALPHONSE MUCHA: THE LEGACY OF ART NOUVEAU

CCBBs Rio de Janeiro

The exhibition brings to the Brazilian public the work of Alphonse Mucha (1860-1939), one of the most outstanding artists of the turn of the 19th century in Europe and the main exponent of the Art Nouveau movement. Are about 100 works, between posters, drawings, paintings, engravings, objects, books and photographs, that run through the artist's work and also his influence in the contemporary world.

The show comprises four thematic sections: Women - Icons and Muses, The Mucha style - A visual language, Beauty - The power of inspiration and continuity of the ‘Mucha style’, which in turn includes the interpretation of the artist's legacy in the form of psychedelic posters from the 1970 and in the style illustrations Mango and other comics.
