The Municipal Circular project, itinerant action of the Municipal Theater of São Paulo, features, together with the concerts of their artistic bodies, performance by the São Mateus Samba and Choro Orchestra

São Paulo, 22 August 2022 – In August, the Municipal Theater of São Paulo, committed to expanding and promoting access to its programming, performs another great presentation of the project Municipal Circle, that seeks to take their artistic bodies to different cultural spaces on the outskirts of the city. On Saturday, 27 of June, às 11h, the space that houses the show is CEU São Rafael, who receives two free concerts, one of Municipal Symphony Orchestra and another of Municipal Lyric Choir. the opening of event will be on behalf of the Samba and Choro Orchestra of São Mateus, that plays choro classics, samba and bossa nova.

The soloists and programs for the performances will bring a special repertoire for lovers of classical music and, also, for those who want to know great classics, between arias and composers. At the Municipal Symphony Orchestra, Highlight for pianist Cecília Moita and harpists Jennifer Campbell and Paola Baron, that run a program that includes the Peer Gynt Suite nº1 (10’) (I. Circular Municipal Project With the aim of promoting access to the artistic creations of the Municipal Theater to the periphery, the project Municipal Circle promotes the circulation of the Artistic Bodies of the Municipal Theater in various regions of the city. The project consists of free presentations that take place until November 2022 in several institutions in different neighborhoods of São Paulo, and also in the exchange between local artists and Theater artists. The program includes performances by the Municipal Symphony Orchestra., Experimental Repertory Orchestra, São Paulo City Ballet, Lyrical Chorale, São Paulo Choir, String Quartet of the City of São Paulo and special guests, followed by exhibitions of the animation Pedro e o Lobo, with Giramundo Teatro de Bonecos and the Experimental Repertoire Orchestra and meetings to exchange experiences between artistic bodies and local artists.
