The exhibition #2015_1 fragment, the Italian-Brazilian artist Lucio Salvatore and that he has signed for curation Fernando Cocchiarale, ends the day 25 October, at the Centro Cultural Correios. One day before, in 24 October, the artist himself will receive the public at an event that will mark the closing of the exhibition. The first project work, “Art will be taken away #1, It's a picture of the works of his own shows #2015_1 fragment, where comes stitched with 100 postcards so that visitors can choose, cut and take the day of the closure, all stamped by the artist with his seal Art will be taken away.

The second, “Art will be taken away #2, consists of a minimalist sculpture consisting of three cubes of Glycerin, a natural material produced in industrial scale, with applications used in various habits of our life and that this year meets 100 years since its invention. Visitors will be able to cut a piece of cubes that will be certified by the artist before being taken by new collectors of the work.

2015_1 fragment opened on the day 3 September, at the Centro Cultural Correios, and in just 6 days received almost 7.000 people. Due to the success, the show won more 20 days, ending the day 25 October. The show brings together a series of conceptual matrix works with installations, photos and videos. They deal with issues such as the authorship of the work, as in "Black Square ", work performed by the artist Anna Bella Geiger especially for shows. Are logistics process appropriations, as for example in the work "Post-Ar " that displaces air from Italy to Rio de janeiro, and industrial processes, such as in the work "Lavra ". In other cases, the works are the result of the choice of the artist to delegate the conduct of the work, as in the case of sculptures "The fashion Game # 7 ", performed by the students of the municipal school Marshal Esperidião Roses, or by the public who visited the exhibition in the installation "1400 Manipulations and a rule ".

Lucio Salvatore – Italian plastic artist Brazilian, lives and works in Rio de Janeiro. Graduated in economics at the Bocconi University of Milan, He studied philosophy and art in EAV Parque Lage. Is doctor in communication technologies and aesthetics through the school of communication from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.
