This Wednesday (07/11), the Curitiba City Photography Museum opens two photographic exhibitions. The exhibition Inner Travel, Abraham Votroba do Argentine photographer is installed na sala 1. A trip made by the photographer and his father Abraham Votroba between the provinces of Corrientes to Posadas, northeastern Argentina resulted in the exposure Inner Travel. The show opens on Wednesday (07/11), at 19h, in Curitiba City Photography Museum. With free entry, the exhibition runs until 10 February 2019.
The photographer traveled over 300 kilometers to accompany his father had to do heart surgery. Uncertainty about the health of your parent, the extensive path, fatigue and hours of road have become a metaphor for inner photographer.
The photos were taken in 2009, but only in 2016 Votroba opened his photographic archives. The show, composed of 17 black and white photographs, displays fragments of time and overlapping images, shot from inside the moving car. As the only real fact were the birds, electricity poles and lines created by photographer. The show reflects what the artist looked inside the vehicle and how the landscapes and swallows fed their hope.
“For me it is very important to share my photographic work Travel interior in Curitiba City Photography Museum for caring for the people of this city and the admiration I have for the culture of Brazil. My first feeling is of gratitude and personally the feeling of an accomplished project, because I share a very emotional job for me and my family ", highlight the photographer. Affectionate at Curitiba people and admiration for the Brazilian culture, is the first time that exposes Votroba in Brazil. "In 2017 I visited Curitiba for the first time and had the honor of presenting my book “The Veil of Time” in the city. Now, one year later, back with an individual sample. This is a nice recognition of this city that surprises me with all cultural proposals it offers ", said.
Biography
Born in 1979 na Province of Misiones, in Argentina, Abraham Votroba graduated as a professional photographer and senior technician in Photographic Image in Argentina School of Photography. Lives and works in Buenos Aires. He worked as a photographer for the magazine Casa FOA, Design space do Grupo Clarin. Coordinated the Open Meetings Portfolios Forum-Festival de la Luz. In 2016 He presented his work abroad and, in 2017, He was invited to the Patagonia Photo Festival and the 9th South Conference Photography, to talk about their works. Currently, conduct the workshop of photo essays.

Pencil room receives shift exposure(…) the offset of a thought, a will, a sensation", Sander Riquetti
From the photographic record of urban interventions the artist Sander Riquetti sought to provoke the public eye to the issue of shift. His works invite the viewer to move the feelings and build their own narrative through the junction between the photo and urban intervention provoking questions, new possibilities and a new sense. The project "shift(…) the offset of a thought, a will, a feeling "was made possible through the Program for Support and Promotion of Culture, the Curitiba Cultural Foundation and the Unicultura - Free University of Culture, Trento Cultural Works and is sponsored by Shopping Mueller and FH Consulting.
The Artist
Sander Vital Riquetti born in Capinzal, Santa Catarina. Graduated in the upper reaches of engraving at the School of Music and Fine Arts of Paraná, Riquetti a photographer and visual artist. Participated in collective and individual exhibitions of art, National Arts halls, international shows and exhibitions of photography, with some prizes and honorable mentions as the 8th International Festival of photographic image in Atibaia-SP and 5nd Salon FUNDARTE/SESC in Montenegro-RS. His last solo exhibitions were "going(REAL)”, held in 2012 and "Shift(…) the offset of a thought, a will, a feeling "was held in 2016 the Gallery EMBAP.
