ARRIVES 19 SEPTEMBER IN DIGITAL PLATFORMS BY IMOVISION
10 restored films by the great Polish filmmaker will be available at Claro Now, Live Play, iTunes/Apple TV, Google Play e YouTube
Imovision will launch on 16 of September on digital platforms a show with 10 great works by the Polish filmmaker Krzysztof Kieslowski, including the hits Freedom is Blue, Equality is White and Fraternity is Red, that make up the color trilogy, a historic landmark for cinema.
Considered a poet who works with light, Krzysztof Kieslowski moved between Polish and French cinema with mastery. Not only did he become one of the most irreverent and influential names of the nineties, as he is still considered one of the most respected directors of the audiovisual industry.
His films that address the politics and everyday life of ordinary people in complex portraits, where the choices will never be as simple as between good and evil, become increasingly relevant and significant over time.
With 3 Oscar nominations and selected frequently at major film festivals like Cannes, Venice and Berlin, where he won several awards, the director who passed away to 54 left behind a unique and human filmography.
The works that are part of the Krzysztof Kieslowski Exhibition include the director's first feature film A Cicatriz (1976), Amador (1979), Blind Luck (1987), Without end (1985), Thou shalt not kill (1985), You will not love (1988), Veronique's Double Life (1991) and the Color Trilogy (1993 – 1994), who are starred by the great actresses Juliette Binoche in A Liberdade é Azul, Julie Delpy in Equality is White and Irène Jacob in Fraternity is Red.
