“Shows Digital Art” get new exhibitions on the Cultural Gate

The Digital Art Center, Cultural gate, This week gets two new exhibitions within the “Shows Digital Art” made possible by the support and encouragement to the FCC Culture. On Wednesday (27), at 19h, the room Domitius Pedroso gets the opening of the exhibition “Vera Little in the Atlantic brought polled my beauty”, of Auriceleste Zimmermann. On Friday (29), at 19h, the artist Felipe Arnoso presents its new project “Universe in Deconstruction, Nostalgia and Future of skateboarding” (UDNFS).

“Vera Little in the Atlantic brought polled my beauty” reveals the life of fictional character created by artist. In his Atlantic coast cities-Superagui, Matinhos, Paranaguá and Florianópolis – Auriceleste Zimmermann creates videos and photographs, grouped, form a fictional documentary that reveals the life of rare species Vera Small, assumed personality sporadically by artist. With Claudia Washington Edition, the work is an affectionate documentary of the places where this coastal species migrates. Accompanied on his wanderings by local collaborators, the character leaves the paths and the performance are determined together with the city, their inhabitants and entities.

UDNFS

The Universe project in Deconstruction, Nostalgia and Future of skateboarding proposes immersion in comprehension of skateboards as art, lifestyle, poetry and culture, gathering paradigms, decades of evolution and a trip back in time.

The artist presents video installation that uses physical elements that interfere in the exhibition space. The projection of a short film in large dimensions, all over the walls of the room creates forms, colors and lines, in which the viewer's interaction with the room creates noises that complement the work and make each visit a unique experience.
