On Saturday, 28 September, the Santa Teresa district will focus on the visual arts with the opening of another edition of the East Circuit, that articulates eight unreleased shows simultaneous openings in moving spaces Studio Nineteen, Canto da Carambola, Workshop of craftsmen, QTR, LABPROA252, Modernists gallery, Blu House and Yellow House in search of a new dynamic for the sector.
The project is a collective effort with a mutual cooperation relationship between the exhibition spaces that add to the agenda of a clear program, well-defined concepts, and easy to understand the public, plus a programming discussions with artists and curators in October.
The program is summarized in the guide-passport, success in previous editions, now again is edited to guide the public. To see all the exhibits the visitor begins to compete for prizes that will be raffled at the end of the period of exposure.
The East circuit is coordinated by Julio Castro, visual artist and professor at the School of Visual Arts of Parque Lage, with trajectory of exhibitions in Brazil and abroad, in partnership with Ana Prado, visual artist, Architect, doctorate in studies of art and the city.

STUDIO NINETEEN
PRACTICES OF PASSING – Rubens da Silva
In the exhibition the artist Paraná / São Paulo / Rio de Janeiro / Goiás, passage is not only the change of territory, but name, point of view, operating modes or actual, an impromptu which echoes the experience of materials, situations and questions. In the works, the father's dying image - an incorporation of the Brazilian modernist expressionism artist Flávio de Carvalho - serves as a starting point for the history of impermanências that this passage points.
The FLYING LADY LENE

THE ENGINEERS
Julio Castro, visual artist and professor at the School of Visual Arts of Parque Lage, and trajectory of exhibitions in Brazil and abroad, and it is one of the creators of several development projects in the art of Santa Teresa, as the Art of Open Doors, circuit Middle, Interference Urban Award, among others. He also owns Estudio Dezenove, active art space in the neighborhood that usually presents major artists works and performs various international artistic exchanges.
Ana Prado, formed in Architecture and Urban, PhD student in the graduate program History of Science, Technical and Epistemology (HCTE-UFRJ), with a thesis on the development of art, City and awareness. Master in Urban Space Management with the theme "The Meanings of Transformation - Art, culture and urban space in Santa Teresa ", where he discusses the transformations of the neighborhood through the increasing use of urban spaces by artists and their interfaces with Arte de Portas Abertas, Intereferências Urban and Coletivações. Works from the years 2000 as a collaborator in Nineteen Studio in the production of exhibitions and artist in group exhibitions.

- The stamp can be made throughout the period of exposure to the space (see dates and times in your passport), and not only on the openings. Each site has a visitation schedule and criteria, allowing the visitor to previously arrange a visit.
