Among half of the thirteenth century and the fifteenth century, we are witnessing a major phenomenon in Italy, the passage of communal institutions to the government of one Lord: the Lordships. Italy will never be as rich intellectual and artistically, but what were the social events, economic, political and religious that would provide the formation of a reality that today takes its landmarks in the Italian cities? these cities, they became witnesses of a great pact: the intense relationship between the Lord and the Artist. Is today? What that experience as fruitful can teach us?
Prof. Dr. Oscar Luigi Marzorati, Italian Lake Como region, Architect and Urban Planner is formed by Civil Architecture Faculty of the University Politecnico di Milano (Milan, Italy). With experience in restoration projects, conservation and enhancement of the existing architectural heritage, It is including author lectures and courses on Italian culture.
