The show celebrates the 50 years of the artist's trajectory in the visual arts, between days 24 October to 19 November, within the new local cultural events calendar.
The plastic artist and architect Luis Antonelli presents the exhibition “Paintings by Luis Antonelli Colors and Flowers”, where you bring works with flowers, of his latest research, still recent, of collages made with original clippings made in all the techniques. isolated flowers, of studies that were selected, cut and grouped in new compositions becoming a new work from countless original fragments.
His works are in watercolor., gouache, colored pencil drawings, Acrylic, monotypes and collages, representing the colorful, shapes and the diversity of the flowers and orchids that he has cultivated for twenty-eight years in his house in Itaipava. “The gardener guides the artist's hand in this original garden and painting creation, with the choice of plants, flowers forming color environments, textures, contrasts and perspectives of observation and contemplation.”

About the exhibition
True to your lifelong theme choice, the artist remains attentive to the observation of nature, expressing their gaze in the most varied techniques. The gardener guides the artist's hand in this original garden and painting creation, with the choice of plants, flowers forming color environments, textures, contrasts and perspectives of observation and contemplation.
The act of creation comes from the experience and accompaniment of the real flower that is discovered, collected and taken to the atelier where it will be, felt, studied, drawn seeking its representation through the form, color, texture and shine made on isolated papers or different poses in the same space.
Different representations that can be made with colored pencils, watercolor pencil that allows interventions with water to obtain overlays and transparencies, watercolors carried out in direct observation of the flowers, gouache tempera painting, acrylic paint they can generate from mixed media works. There are also surprises and discoveries of the effects produced by water when monotypes are made in watercolor and gouache..
The artist's trajectory in these 50 years of production took part in temporary exhibitions, individual, highlighting the traveling exhibition with originals of national scope held by SESC Nacional, and awards in salons.

About Luis Antonelli
Visual Artist,Architect and Museographer, born in 02 September 1956, in the city of Resende, Rio de Janeiro. He became interested in the arts from a young age through his contact with the Museum of Modern Art in Resende. He sought to deepen his techniques and artistic language by participating in courses held in Resende, and, He then took a degree in Architecture and Urbanism, at the Faculty of Architecture of Barra do Piraí, having graduated in 1982. With your transfer to Rio de Janeiro, continued specializing, having the opportunity to participate in courses at the School of Fine Arts and at Parque Lage. Throughout his professional life he was close to the arts, having gone through their 31 years of career as a museographer architect at the National Historical Museum, mounting permanent and temporary exhibitions. Has a workshop in Itaipava, Petrópolis district, Rio de Janeiro, since the year 1996, where he deepens and develops new themes and techniques of artistic representation.

About Shopping Casino Atlântico
Casino Atlântico was one of the casinos that were located on Copacabana beach.. During a decade of 1930, baccarat games, camper, roulette, black jack and card games attracted carioca society and people from other cities (from Brazil and the world) to the place. The building of the old Casino Atlântico was demolished in the years 1970 to make way for the new hotel. Many historical moments were lived at the Casino, such as, Carmen Miranda's shows, which was right presence on the spot.
Shopping Casino Atlântico was created about 40 years and houses, for the most part, antique stores and art galleries, that bring renowned artists in Brazil and abroad. After the pandemic, the place reinvented itself and bet on diversification, with restaurants, coffee shop, events in your halls, open to hotel guests and the general public. Sophistication and comfort, between the sea and art, in one place, that will please the most demanding!
