Where did you born? And what is your academic training?

Was born in São Paulo, capital and graduated in Pharmacy and biochemistry at the University of São Paulo. I also have musical training by former Conservatório Dramático e Musical de São Paulo, but don't practice this profession.

How and when you give your first contact with the Arts?

In fact I think since when I started my classical piano studies to 4 years old, I began to imagine that he had a special sensitivity for the arts. At that time I already highlighted at school doing small presentations of music or arts in cultural fairs.

I kept the piano until I graduate the Conservatory, but don't let the paint flow, even after winning a full painting material from my father to 14 years.

How did you find this gift?

This question is quite interesting, I don't think "I found my gift" and Yes I am eternally developing my talents.

Have left the arts in my past (both pictorial and musical) always caused me a huge hole in the heart, like I'm not complete. In adult life after motherhood, It came out and decided to rescue the art piece that was dormant in me.

I have a collection of orchids which started shooting in order to paint. I was hoping to do small landscapes and flowers to put on the walls of my house (laughs), I sought guidance from Professor, Restorer, artist and photographer Titina Corso and with it still until today.

Art 1 Luciana AlfredoWhat are your main influences?

I'm purely classical and historical influences for construction and contemporary techniques of deconstruction of works. The many glazes of Rubens and Rembrandt and the tradition and symbolism of the sacred representations of the icons inspire me.

In photography, I have a huge admiration for Ansel Adams landscapes and their P&B. Currently I work of Sebastiao Salgado.

What materials do you use in your works?

I ran long studies of various artistic techniques that have been produced over the years for historical research, I sought viable alternative materials adaptations of sustainable use to conceptualize my works.

I use basically subjects such as oil-based paints, wax, beeswax, fire, carbon, pastel, canvas, various fabrics, Armenian cake, Rabbit glue, cast acrylic, gold leaf, coffee, sand, demolition wood, hardware, eggshell, wires, bitumen.

What is your creative process itself? What inspires you?

My creative process has a classical construction contemporary deconstruction's iconographic recreating intense effects of aging and antiquity.

I've always been in love with literature and historical research, so all my work involves a contemporary vision of the iconographic life passages of biblical characters or major figures of world history.

I started with St. Francis of Assisi, because as a volunteer protective of animals, It was a tribute I always wanted to do and came from a dream I had with a work him, that dream has generated my inspiration for "the legacy of Francis of Assisi", Award-winning work that generated the constructive process of the entire series of Francisco.

Art 2 Luciana AlfredoWhen you started effectively to produce or create your works?

About four years or so, I realized that something was missing from paramount in my life, like martelasse my individuality and seek again the art inside of me. I sought a tutor to teach me the first steps and I can say that it was like an on and off button had been activated, never been able to get away from a screen (laughs).

Art is an intellectual production exquisite, where emotions are embedded in the context of creation, but in art history, we see that many artists are derived from other, following technical and artistic movements through time, you own any model or influence of any artist? Who would be?

As I have answered above, I was inspired in the past, by Byzantine artists, flamencos, Baroque, Renaissance and the works created throughout antiquity.

What does art mean to you? If you were to summarize in a few words the meaning of Arts in your life…

"My juice".

What techniques do you use to express their ideas, feelings and perceptions about the world? (Whether it is through painting, sculpture, drawing, collage, photography… or uses several techniques in order to make a mix of different art forms).

Use what inspires me at the moment, is photography, painting or visual art. The momentary insight of my creative process will define the technique used, I don't like to stereotype my art by setting a rigid profile, I do what I enjoy.

Every artist has his mentor, that person whom you mirrored that encouraged and inspired you to follow this career you, going ahead and taking your dreams the other expression levels, who this person is and how it introduced you in the art world?

Titina corso, This is the person! (laughs)

You have another activity beyond art? You give lessons, lectures etc.?
