National and regional films will be selected, in addition to works carried out in Santa Cruz do Sul
Can be made up to 31 August, at website www.festivalsantacruzcinema.com.br, the entries for the competitive exhibitions of the 4º Santa Cruz Film Festival, which this year will take place in a hybrid format of 29 November to 03 of december. They will be selected 12 national and six regional short films for the main competition, which involves 12 categories, and up to six films for the Olhares Daqui Show, which will award in the category Best movie works carried out at the university level and linked to subjects offered in the Social Communication Courses of the University of Santa Cruz do Sul (Unisc) or that are from directors of the city of Santa Cruz do Sul.
To participate, the films must be short films (until 25 minutes long, credits included), of the fiction genres, animation and documentary, produced in Brazil or by Brazilian filmmakers, have a display copy in digital format, have been finalized after January 1, 2019, be finalized at the time of registration and cannot have been selected for previous editions of the Festival. For display purposes, the work should, obligatorily, have subtitles in Portuguese. The regulation is also available on the event website.
The release of the selected shorts will take place in November, on a date to be communicated on social networks and on the Festival and directors website. The announcement of the Tipuana trophy winners will take place at an official ceremony, on 03 of december, a partir the 19h. The 4th Festival Santa Cruz de Cinema is held by Sesc Santa Cruz do Sul, by the University of Santa Cruz do Sul – Social Communication Courses and by Pé de Coelho Filmes, and is sponsored by JTI and the Municipality of Santa Cruz do Sul.
