Imovision promotes a special live with Bárbara Paz to launch the Documentary MULHER on digital platforms

Imovision distributor in partnership with website Mulher no Cinema, going to make a special live day 16/07 the 19:30 on your instagram, @imovision, with journalist Luísa Pécora, writer and creator of Mulher no Cinema, and actress and filmmaker Bárbara Paz on the premiere of the documentary WOMAN, that hits digital platforms today 15 July. The film will be available for rent or purchase on the platforms: Itunes, Net Now, Google Play, Vivo Play e Youtube.

Woman debuted in Brazil on the day 12/03 and was only a week on the horizon due to the coronavirus pandemic. The documentary directed by the filmmakers Yann Arthus-Bertrand of Anastasia Mikova. The director also directed the hit documentary "Human - A Journey Through Life" and is a bestselling photographer "The Earth Seen from Heaven".

​For the documentary Mulher were 2.000 interviews with women from 50 countries around the world. Woman was part of the Official Selection of the Venice Film Festival and won the Sfera Prize 1932 at the Venice Film Festival - Award given to the film with the most evocative power of the selection, which promotes the need for a more sustainable future and directs its choices towards improving the quality of life for humanity.

“Woman” gives voice to two thousand women 50 different countries, in an intimate portrait that explores themes of motherhood, education, marriage, financial independence and sexuality.

The film denounces the social injustices that women suffer around the world, but more than that, shows the strength and ability they have to change the world.
