Globe presents Quintet Violated at São Cristóvão

Show of the day 17 July, Friday, is part of the celebrations of St. John of the fair. Pernambuco group sings classics by Dominguinhos and Luiz Gonzaga with singer Lucy Adams

The June festivities extend to July and the Globe takes the quintet Violated to a decree on presentation day 17, Friday, at the fair of Saint Kitts. Animating the public with the best of the rest, xote, xaxado and baião, the group does show from the 10:0 pm, with participation of singer Paraiba Lucy Adams.

Formed in 1971, the Quintet has focused on regional music Violated and does a mixture of rhythms which values bass sounds, violão, Viola, flutes, keyboards, percussion and voices. On the date, the group will present the musical spectacle that pays homage to two of the greatest Brazilian artists, Dominguinhos and Luiz Gonzaga. The show, already performed in 11 capital and in jerk of all Northeastern cities, comes to the fair of Saint Kitts for the first time.

In 2014, the Group received the "Brazilian music award" as Best Regional Group and won Latin Grammy nomination with the DVD "Quintet Violated sings Gonzagão".
