1- Where did you born? And what is your academic training?
I was born in Goiânia/GO. Graduated in Pedagogy. magisterium. Psychopedagogy in Visual Arts. Master's in Education.
2- How and when you give your first contact with the Arts?
The first contact occurred in childhood, being a very important learning, because dealing with colors and their hues made me develop an experience in my life, today I work with arts in education.
3- How did you find this gift?
Had 8 years when I started some art courses, from this time onwards, whenever I have time, I take courses to improve my technique and I am a professional painter, I do my work and paintings.
The painting did not appear in a timed way in my life, and yes in a spontaneous and natural way, authentic, today I embrace all opportunities and confess to finding security and well-being in everything I do.
4- What are your main influences?
my mother always helped me, when I was little my mother enrolled me in an art school, I was very child, but that attitude made all the difference.
5- What materials do you use in your works?
acrylic paints, brushes, fabrics, acrylic putty and organic sources.
6- What is your creative process itself? What inspires you?
The field of arts has always been recognized as a stronghold of creativity, where the artist enters the creative process.
Creativity is not exclusive to artist, but something that sets it apart: The artist has already felt the experience of discomfort, a feeling of unease, something that prompted him to create, I remember an interesting image shown by May (1975), telling us that others create pearls as a form of defense, coating an occasional mote with many layers of resin, as a natural protection for your internal space. Other people without mote live very calm and accommodated, but they don't create pearls either, so admired for your beauty.
The creative process for me presents children as a plural activity involving motivation, internal dimensions, cognitive as knowledge and technical skills.
7- When you started effectively to produce or create your works?
When I started to attend the plastic arts course here in Porto Alegre with teacher Dalva.
8- Art is an intellectual production exquisite, where emotions are embedded in the context of creation, but in art history, we see that many artists are derived from other, following technical and artistic movements through time, do you own any model or influences of an artist? Who would be?
In fact, I had teachers who helped me in the determination., emotional strength and flexibility.
Some difficulties I encounter I do daily practice to be able to overcome the difficulties.
I didn't have a mentor, but it was through the desire and desire to paint.
9- What does art mean to you? If you were to summarize in a few words the meaning of Arts in your life…
I found in the literary works of the writer Fernando Pessoa a thought to reflect: “The art it exists because life is insufficient.”
10- What techniques do you use to express their ideas, feelings and perceptions about the world?
In the visual arts almost any material and technique can be used to create a work. However, there are those that are better known, considering how traditional, modern or contemporary.

work in two-dimensional space, but I'm in the learning process, although the drawing and engraving are similar, the big difference and the technique involved. In the three-dimensional part in depth, I'm also in the learning process.
The choice of materials is related to the chosen technique. Through painting I express my ideas, using various techniques.
11- Every artist has his mentor, that person whom you mirrored that encouraged and inspired you to follow this career you, going ahead and taking your dreams the other expression levels, who this person is and how it introduced you in the art world?
We live in a speed society, I studied about the lives of several artists and I found some ideas that completed me and I continue studying. Claude Monet I'm in love with landscape, and he painted outdoors, unusual choice in its time.
the presence of light, from water, for portraying nature in detail and for reproducing huge landscapes that left his art marked in the lives of several artists.

15- In your opinion what is the future of Brazilian art and its artists? (in the general context) and why so many artists are giving preference to show their work in international exhibitions despite high costs?
The future will be guided by accessibility and transparency that produce open and lasting connections.
This autonomy had shifted once and for all the axis of relevance of traditional art galleries that, just as happened with music, we need to reinvent ourselves.

“Nature in detail in Gilma Menegusso's paintings”,
por Ana Mondini
.
Being a recurrent theme among painters, what transforms each landscape into an unprecedented scene are the particular traits of each artist.
In their paintings, Gilma Menegusso uses vibrant colors and gives shape to images through the very relationship between the ink stains, using the design in a few moments.
in landscapes, in specific, the artist places the horizon on the plane with different scopes of the gaze. They arise so much a little more broadly, how very narrowly, in the latter case, in order to emphasize the beauty of the elongated landscapes present in the vertical.
Amid the enlarged scenes, there is also space for details, that give the artist's special touch, such as, for example, the sandy texture of the ground foreground of a landscape. In addition, the cutout of an area of the tree, that fills a single plan, unlike the vast landscapes, brings with it the texture of the stem and petals of the flowers, through the relief given by the ink. And, thus, the image itself strongly suggests its sharpness due to the approach of the gaze on the observed thing.
Through its distances and approaches, the artist offers us various possibilities for contemplating what exists around the horizon line, with the addition of diverse lighting effects. And, and, for each ali element present, nature appears as a spectacle in the paintings of Gilma Menegusso.
