Solar Art Gallery opens the exhibition Sun wires

The exhibition contains works of art 38 children and adolescents from communities of Cantagalo and Pavão-Pavãozinho

The art gallery will promote Solar for free, from 07 of June, to exhibition Sun wires. Curated by Ana Teresa Lopes, Claudia Lyrio, Marisa Florido and Talita Tunala and coordination Osvaldo Carvalho, 38 Solar Integral College students are transformed into artists and follow a line of art ever designed on display light Balloon, where artists entwined in network order, unifying work through previously suggested topics, influenced by the poem Weaving the morning, of João Cabral de Melo Neto.

Through three different workshops, students, residents of the communities of Cantagalo and Pavão-Pavãozinho, They were encouraged to surrender to the playful and exercised their freedom of creation according to the four themes proposed to them: Rainbow, gravity, autorretrato and aurora.

Among the materials worked, brought by artists Denise Calasans and Mercedes Lachmann, Chang Chi Chai, Roberta Paiva and Claudia Lyrio, are clay Play-doh, self-portraits and revolving lanterns used in popular festivities China. The works, to be exhibited in Light wires, They took inspiration from Leonardo da Vinci, Nelson Leirner, Tarsila do Amaral and Jeff Koons. These experiences artists turned into colorful sculptures, rotating lights and self-portraits with an interference stickers, cutouts and paint.

The exhibition of the students is a practice developed in order to bring the children of the current artistic production of the country. "Each has autonomy and central role in the creation and reproduction of their ideas", explains Yolanda Maltaroli, founder of the NGO Solar Meninos de Luz.
