The André Art Gallery proudly opens, on 21 of June, the exhibition frictional abstraction, curated by Mario Gioia. With 28 artists and about 50 works, the exhibition brings works from different concepts, generations, scales and propositions of abstraction in Brazil.

With opening day cocktail 21 from June to 19:00 hours, you are more than welcome to our new meeting. The exhibition features 28 artists and about 50 works of different concepts, generations, scales and propositions of abstraction in Brazil.

Among the artists are Arcangelo Ianelli, Bruno Giorgi, Diana Motta, Eduardo Sued, Emanoel Araujo, Kika Goldstein, Julia Parker and Gabriel Nehemy, among others. The André Art Gallery itself has already exhibited in its rooms some productions by these artists. “It is remarkable in the gallery's trajectory the close approximation with Japanese-Brazilians, such as Manabu Mabe, Tikashi Fukushima, Kenji Fukuda, Kazuo Wakabayashi and Yutaka Toyota, among others ", says curator Mario Gioia.
