CAWA Gallery exhibits Artist Mari Sperandio's Surreal and Enigmatic Exhibition

Mari Sperandio (1989) is a Brazilian photographer who currently lives in São Paulo. After graduating as an engineer, restless with corporate life, left the country to travel the world, when he started his photography studies in Ecuador. His specialty is Artistic Photography, showing its image and brand through glamorous self-portraits, dark and enigmatic. The stories behind the images portray their passions, innermost fears and contemplations. With progressive and creative mind, paint amazing worlds with the presence of light, or lack thereof.

The artist completed a project of 52 weeks where he developed four photographic styles, being they: conceptual photography, surreal art photography, digital painting and hybrid photography.

Also participated in international and national exhibitions, collective and individual, physical and online. He is currently participating in electronic auctions and developing a contemporary hybrid photography project.

Among the various participations in photographic exhibitions, Mari Sperandio has recently exhibited her work in:

“Creative Women Expo”; in 2020 in Quito, Ecuador; already in 2021 been to Expo Digital “Alone Toguether”, of Up Arts Incubator; in Individual Online Expo “Quarantine Gallery”, no Chile; and in Expo “Photo Lab 2021” in São Paulo. Also participated in the conversation about “Naked body”, in Quito, was cited in the second edition of the cultural magazine “Traces”, and in the Italian magazine “Italiamiga” in the August issue of 2021, in addition to being invited to exhibit at the Chilean cultural fair “Focus” also in august of 2021.

Mari Sperandio is the curator of the digital magazine “YAYL Magazine”, which features emerging artists and their work, for believing that together we can grow with more courage and strength.
