In the next year, Brazilian festivals will welcome big names in national and international music
Brazil tends to be a country of eclectic festivals. Do funk ao metal, Every year the public eagerly awaits confirmations of national and international attractions that are part of festival line-ups around the country.

Responsible for hosting artists like Beyoncé, Stevie Wonder, Rihanna and several others throughout her history, RIR's line-up is always one of the most anticipated.
Some festivals are already confirmed for 2024 and other, even, already have dates for the start of sales. Check out some of the events expected for next year below.!
Rock in Rio 2024
Happening every two years, o Rock in Rio, as the name implies, is held in the city of Rio de Janeiro and is known for being an eclectic event, with pop names, Rock, metal and even funk. There are several simultaneous stages within the City of Rock, where the public can move around and choose the shows they will watch.
In 2024, the Festival will happen in the days 13, 14, 15, 19, 20, 21 and 22 September, with some attractions already confirmed. Ed Sheeran, Ne-Yo and Joss Stone are the international personalities already confirmed by the event organizers. In national names, the festival announced Ludmilla. The singer participated in the last edition, in 2022, and performed one of the biggest shows of his career, being highly requested by fans in the line-up of 2024.
The opening of sales for the Rock in Rio Card takes place on the day 07 th December 2023, at 19h. The card is a special ticket purchased before the line-up is even released; with it in hand, buyers can choose which day of the event they want to attend, after most of the artists are announced.
On dates closer to the event, It is also possible to make a purchase for a specific date, cannot be changed.
Lollapalooza 2024
Lollapalooza, international festival that takes place in several other countries, is one of Rock in Rio's biggest competitors in Brazil. Unlike the previous, Lolla happens every year, in the State of São Paulo, and features national and international indie music artists, Rock, rap and pop.
The event will take place in March next year, more specifically on the days 22, 23 and 24, at the Interlagos Racetrack, in São Paulo. With your entire line-up released, Lolla has opened ticket sales since October 2023. On 22 th November of 2023, the festival announced its attractions divided by day and opened sales for the purchase of “Lolla Day” tickets”, which allow access to a chosen day of shows.
Check out each day's headliners:
- Friday (22/03): Blink-182 e Arcade Fire.
- Saturday (23/03): Paramore, Limp Bizkit and Titans.
- Sunday (24/03): SZA e Sam Smith.
In addition to these, the line-up has other great lineups such as Hozier, The Offspring, Gilberto Gil, Thirty Seconds To Mars, Diplo, among several others.
Individual days start at R$ 500 (1th batch – half price) and reach up to R$ 2.250 (Lolla Lounge Day by Vivo). “Lolla Pass” tickets, which guarantee access to the three days of the festival, went on sale in October this year, but they are still available for purchase, with prices starting at R$ 1.300 (3th batch – half price), reaching R$ 5.450 (Lolla Lounge Pass by Vivo).
This is the first edition of Lollapalooza that will be held by the production company Rock World, responsible for Rock in Rio and The Town. Some fans who have been attending the festival for a few years hope for a more organized and accessible edition.

Festival Summer Breeze Brasil 2024
Considered one of the biggest metal festivals in the world, Summer Breeze arrives in Brazil in 2024 for its second edition on Brazilian soil. The event takes place on 26, 27 and 28 April next year and already has a complete line-up of big names from the global metal scene.
The festival's proposal is to create an accessible event for all ages. The space offers experiences and activities for the whole family., including a Kids Space, with monitors for the comfort of parents and little rockers.
On the first day of the festival, fans can look forward to Mercyful Fate, Mr.Big e Sebastian Bach como headliners, enquanto Within Temptation, Epica and Hammerfall will be responsible for Saturday, day 27. On 28, the line up has two names confirmed as headliners so far – Anthrax e Killswitch Engage – and a surprise attraction not yet revealed.
Ticket sales for Summer Breeze Brasil 2024 is available on the Clube do Ingresso website, with prices starting at R$ 575 (3th batch – half price – Summer Card, which entitles you to entry on one of the days of the festival). The event's physical box office is located at Consulado do Rock (Av. St. John, 439 – Shop 234 – Center – São Paulo – SP).
Even though these festivals are scheduled for next year, It is necessary to pay attention when purchasing tickets and tickets, which tend to be quite busy during show times. The tip for fans is to look for travel packages and accommodation in advance, so that no unforeseen events happen close to the dates of the long-awaited festivals.
It is also important to remember that festivals require special care, since, there are long days in open spaces, exposed to sun and rain, where participants, and often, need to move long distances. Sunscreen, Raincoat and light clothing are essential items when planning a trip like this.
