F23 – Photographic Encounters

Open-air image boulevards in Paulistano's gardens

The Paulistano Club houses, in its alleys, the collective F23 – Photographic Encounters, under the curatorship of Sergio Scaff and Bel Lacaz. Far from being a standard photo show, the exhibition offers the visitor the possibility of getting to know and approach entire worlds of image creation, authored by 23 photographers who will be available in locations determined by the curatorship. Solo exhibitions by guest professionals, at different moments of trajectory, offer a wide range of imaging options, in a total of 1.213 images, grouped in 23 sets, portrayed by the vision of women and men photographers.

Guests by Sergio Scaff, Alessandra Rehder, Antonio lives, Betina Samaia, Carol Lacaz, Fabio Colombini, Fabio Figueiredo, Fabiano Al Makul, Giovanna Nucci, Ivan Padovani, Jose Roberto Bassul, Lucas Lenci, Luciano Bonomo, Luiz Aureliano, Melissa Szymanski, Paul Clemence, Pico Garcez, Renan Benedito, Renata Barros, Robério Braga, Romulo Fialdini, Tuca Reinés, Uiler Costa-Santos and Valentino Fialdini, bring their universe of images for the public to know and get closer to their creation. "This exhibition will allow you to present the different readings, concepts, works and the evolution of photography, in the eyes of these photographers", explains Scaff.

Far from being a static display, in standard format, the all-digital show, will be positioned on the internal alleys of the Paulistano in totem identified by artist: “each photographer will have an individual totem to present their biography, curriculum and photographic collection representing the work performed, during his artistic and professional career”, curator defines the. This allows the visitor to have contact with a large number of images that will transport them to different creative universes, peculiar and particular to each artist.

The images that the artists present, with selection of Sergio Scaff, walk through different themes, distinct and plural. Include themes like architecture, environment, fauna, Flora, urban night life, daily, sets, dreams, emotions, costumes, embrace life!

As a set of additional possibilities for holding the photo exhibition, the curatorship provides an agenda of complementary actions with a wide schedule of guided tours to the exhibition, meetings, lectures, visits to ateliers and galleries whose definitive agenda will be available on Paulistano's social networks for registration and scheduling.
