Several exhibitions open in the cultural spaces and museums of the Cultural Foundation of Curitiba are good options for vacation programs. Solar do Barão hosts photography exhibitions, engraving, drawing and comics. The Municipal Art Museum has exhibitions that include works from the collection, digital art, comics and installations. Historical exhibitions occupy the Curitiba Memorial and Casa Romário Martins. There is also an art exhibition on religious themes, in various techniques, on display at the Museum of Sacred Art.
The photographic exhibition "Be", of Estevan Reder, is one of the attractions at Solar do Barão. Known for his urban interventions in several capitals in Brazil and Latin America using the lambe-lambe technique, the artist brings eight enlarged images to the Photography Museum. The daily lives of people walking through the streets of the various capitals of Brazil and Latin America are substantial food for the photographer's work..
The urban landscape is also present in the retrospective exhibition by the design group Urban Sketchers, on display at the Gibiteca space. Curated by Simon Taylor, .the exhibition brings together the best works produced by the group every Saturday, somewhere in the city, depicting landscapes, architecture, stories and people of Curitiba.
The Municipal Museum of Art (Muma) presents the exhibition “The Circus, Toy and Play” with works from the collections of the Curitiba Cultural Foundation. Curated and produced by Joseane Baratto, The exhibition pays homage to the 40 years of Circo da Cidade with works by Djanira, Haruo Ohara, Denise Roman, Livio Abramo, Nilo Previdi, Raul Cruz, Maria Nicolas, among others. In addition to the exhibition, the Célia Neves Lazarotto room houses an interactive space for children with comic books for local reading., tangran and other games.
At Casa Romário Martins remains the exhibition "Alceu Chichorro and the material culture of Curitiba journalism in the middle of the century 20”. The exhibition contains reproductions of 127 original cartoons of Chichorro in India ink on paper. The material is presented for the first time to the public in Curitiba. Through the characters Chico Fumaça, Dona Marcolina and toto, published in the newspaper “O Dia”, the cartoonist described the political situation in Brazil before the military coup of 1964 and the adversities faced by Brazilians at that time.
