The talent expressed for drawing and painting permeates the trajectory of Gilberto Perelló in his life in Brazil and abroad, and arrives in current production with admirable embouchure that fills all the spaces of your home-atelier and overflows in the daily sampling makes for your personal Facebook page.

A native of Cabo Frio (RJ), former student of anthropology at UFRJ, lived during 14 years in Cologne, Germany, where was born one of his two sons. In Europe fed on museums and cultural spaces, and saw up close the works of painters who always admired. In the Pantheon of their idols are Paul Klee, Kandinski, Picasso and Braque, along with the great Brazilian modernism. Very influenced by music, literature and contemporary pop culture, having experienced the surf and rock influences of his youth in the years 70/80, the explosion of colours and shapes added to the impact of its frequent expressions characters guarantee to your painting a unique brand, coined by instinct an autodidact.

Oblivious to the theories of art, but always attentive to the artistic production and the different manifestations of the pictorial languages, literary and musical, Gil Perelló brings to his work the freshness of the mixture, the fusion of different perceptions that the artist seems to be nothing more than a State inherent in everyday breathing. The chalk inks transported to the screen, a vibrant art communicates permanently with the Viewer, without taxes, without hermetismos, no objections, signaling a single appointment: art.
