Beatriz Milhazes and Abraham Palatnik are some of the artists who are part of the ‘So Show’ show, in São Paulo
Explore the duality between dream and reality, interaction and desire. These were the aims of the work of more than 20 artists, which can be admired for free at "group show ‘So Show’. The exhibition, which is curated by Gigi Guttersen and Gialllo, opens its doors this sunday (6) and sign up 18 November, in São Paulo.
The inspiration for the name of the exhibition comes from the work of William Shakespeare, na peça ‘As You Like It’, in the expression 'so only', that alludes to the “beyond the satisfactory, but never excessive”.
The exhibited pieces seek the alchemy of contrasting elements like a dream with nuances of reality.. The event was organized by young people under 27 years and brings new perspectives to the world of arts. They acted as co-founders, project directors and managers.
Among the works is the work of plastic artist Abraham Palatnik, pioneer in kinetic art in Brazil and with exhibitions both nationally and (including four São Paulo Biennials) how much abroad (part of the collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York). Also plastic artist, Beatriz Milhazes is another to brighten up the show.
Other selected artists are Amilcar de Castro, And Maia & Pink Plates, Antonio Oba, Artur Lescher, Ernesto Neto, Gabriela Melzer, Application, José Leonilson, José Resende, Manu Brunello, Maryam Eisler, Mirela Cabral, Natasha Bourne, Nelson Leirner, Paula Degaia, Rubem Valentim, Sophia Loeb by Toz.

The collective exhibition 'So Show' has a partnership with Instituto Sonhe!, institution that will benefit from activities and classes for children and adolescents assisted by the NGO, which will still receive a donation of non-perishable food from the exhibition organization.
