Attractions in the Manual Arts programming
During the month of December, the Manual Arts programming of Sesc brings public exposure in Sorocaba photographer Ricardo Camargo and an installation of artist Horace Althabe, both with free entry and free rating.

Horace Gabriel Althabe was born in Argentina. After completing his studies in psychology, linked to the Latin American musical context. His work is based on "interactive art", Nonlinear and dynamic. The exhibition "perspectives of the craft", by Ricardo Calderon, will be available for public visitation 4 to 31 of december, Tuesday to Friday, from 9:00 to 9:30 pm and, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, from 10:0 to 6:30 pm, in the exhibition space. The exhibit brings photos that depict poetically professionals in their offices almost extinct, proposing a reflection about the crafts within the consumer society. The tailor, the cobbler, the seamstress, in their working environments, accompanied by your tools and your memories, causing a discomfort that transitions between nostalgia and our current needs.
Ricardo Calderon is known for his work in advertising works, video clips and short films. The photographer has several awards to his credit, as the "professional of the year", in the category "Interior", provided by Rede Globo, "Best Director of photography FestVideo", among others, In addition to having participated in advertising contests of Sorocaba.
