Shows brings pictures depicting nearly extinct crafts professionals
The Sesc Sorocaba brings this month shows "perspectives of the craft", the photographer Ricardo Camargo, available for visitation 4 to 31 of december, Tuesday to Friday, from 9:00 to 9:30 pm and, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, from 10:0 to 6:30 pm, in the exhibition space. The attraction is part of the Manual Arts programming of the Sesc and has free entry.
"Perspectives of the craft" features photographs that reveal the poetic and playful form professionals in their offices almost extinct, proposing a reflection about the crafts within the consumer society. The tailor, the cobbler, the luthier, the seller of tallow, are pictured in their working environments, accompanied by your tools and your memories, causing a discomfort that transitions between nostalgia and our current needs.
Ricardo Calderon is a photographer, stage director and photography, works with images from very young, and today's important advertising areas, artistic and documentary essays. Collect some important photography awards, in the direction of shorts and clips, is passionate about film and aesthetics of comics, and put in your own language and poetic works.
