Even day 23 of June, the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná (PUCPR) is the stage for exhibition “Ida Hannemann de Campos Centenary: imaginary, forms and poetics in paranaense art”.

The works were selected curated by Fernando Antonio Fontoura Bini, Professor of History of Art at PUCPR. The exhibition is open to the public, from 9:0 to 5:0 pm, at the Cultural Center of the Curitiba campus. Visits on Saturdays and nights can be made by appointment.

Ida Hannemann de Campos (1922-2019) was an artist of many facets. Painter, designer, illustrator, label, muralist, sculptor and poet, his life and works are intertwined with the memory of the capital of Paraná. His art is marked by lightness, color and spontaneity, from your fertile imagination. The ability to recreate nature with simplicity and timeless liveliness is a hallmark of all her pieces..

“No doubt, painting has always been Ida's great passion, and that's why this show focuses on them”, points Bini, “but this exhibition does not end there, it is possible to admire another work by the artist on the tile panel ‘Natureza Típica’, from 1994, in the foyer of the PUCPR Library”.
