The Pinacoteca de São Paulo inaugurates its program of exhibitions of 2024 with a remarkable panoramic exhibition dedicated to one of the most influential artists of the 20th century, Lygia Clark.

Lygia Clark: Project for a planet is a unique immersion bringing together more than 150 representative works from different phases of his career.

With the aim of bringing Clark's artistic legacy closer to new generations, to exhibition is on display at the Pinacoteca de São Paulo until 04 August 2024.

The series Animals was a collection of sculptures produced by Lygia Clark from 1960, during the period in which the artist became part of the neoconcretist movement, together with the Rio de Janeiro Frente Group.

The Animals are unstable structures, that question the physical certainties of those who see, since they are constantly on the verge of collapse and do not have an ideal shape.
